Some of your favourite Open-Edition images are now available as digital downloads... at a fraction of the cost of a print

Autumn is a great time of year to see the beautiful warm tones of nature. Here, I've taken leaves, twigs and fruit from a Horse Chestnut tree and used them to produce this still-life image of 'conkers' to show off the form of the leaves, the spiky fruit and the smooth conkers inside, along with the greens, browns and golds that go with the season.

Using similar techniques to my Limited Edition Prints, my Open-Edition digital downloads are far less complicated and involved to produce and don't require printing, packaging and posting. As a result, I'm able to offer these artworks at price-points reflecting this.

My digital download files are designed to print at the standard print size of the original Open-Edition print (e.g. 12"x12", 16"x12", etc) at 300 Dots Per Inch. Each can easily be resized to 6”x6”, 8”x6”, etc. You can use your file as often as you wish.

When the sun hangs low in the autumn sky, it can be the ideal brush to paint strong scenes like this, of a tree on the edge of woodland. I particularly like the way in which the twists of the trunk are highlighted here.
