Fotos For Art will be at Tynemouth Market again, this Saturday.
My featured work will be a 120CM x 60CM framed, edition 2 of 25 canvas called, “Tyne’s Bridges”. Tyne’s Bridges is a commissioned work, with licence for 25 editions (edition 1 going to my client). As with all of my work, Tyne’s Bridges is made up of multiple photographs. Only instead of the usual 20 to 40 photographs, Tyne’s Bridges is made from 96 photographs, taken over a 2 week period.

As well as this featured work, you’ll find other limited-edition Fine Art prints (all editions of 25), with a mix of print only, mounted prints (to fit a 20”x16” frame of your choice), as well as framed prints. With these Fine Art prints being limited-editions of 25, you’re assured of something rare whatever finish you decide upon.

Whilst limited-edition Fine Art is my specialism, I’ll also have some open-edition Fine Art prints available. My Open-Edition Fine Art prints are less complicated and involved to produce compared to much of my work. As a result, I'm able to offer these artworks at price-points reflecting this. These will be available as small prints on their own, as well as framed prints.

I also have this beautiful set of three framed open-edition Lupin prints available.

So, whether you’re in the market for something really special, something rare, or something more affordable, I’ll have something to suit almost any budget.
This will be the third visit to Tynemouth Market by Fotos For Art. And, I’m looking forward to being there most weekends. You’ll find me on Saturday on Platform 2 (or as I call it, “the non-seaside side).
Tynemouth Market is set in the gloriously restored and beautifully ornate, Victorian built Tynemouth Metro Station. Tynemouth Station now offers a vast covered space for the famous markets each weekend. Visitors come from far and wide to join the crowds enjoying the huge variety of over 150 stalls and soaking up the huge atmosphere on both sides of the platforms. Its magnificent glazed roof offers shelter whatever the British weather brings, rain or shine! Tynemouth Market is open every Saturday & Sunday 9am – 3:30pm.

You’ll find some great quality vendors, selling photographs / art (like me), vintage clothing CDs, LPs, bric-a-brac, great food and drink, clothes old and new, candles and aroma-therapy, antiques and a lot more besides.
The location of Tynemouth Market is really, really good. It’s just a two minute walk from the heart of Tynemouth village and less than ten minutes walk from the beaches - award winning beaches at that. And obviously, the market is very close to the mouth of the Big River itself.
So why not pop along, and make a day of it? After all, the weather is set fair (17℃, according to the BBC weather forecast). And, pop over to Platform 2 and say, “Hello.” I’d love to see you.
