Crossing the Bridge to Autumn

On a walk through the woods at the rear of Lumley Castle, County Durham, I came across this stone bridge. The scene, with the warm colours of autumn particularly apparent on the far side of the bridge, helped by the couple crossing the bridge at one point, really did look like a crossing from the relative green of summer, into the start of autumn.
